My room is really a haven. It's not relaxing to most people but it looks the way I imagine my mind would look - you know, messy, crazy colorful, creative. It's full of magazine cut-outs, artwork, photographs, books, clothing, books, knick-knacks, etc. My favorite part - besides my bookshelves, seeing as I'm an avid reader - is my Wall of Inspiration. (Yes, I have named my walls.) My Wall of Inspiration is where I paste pages I've cut out from magazines that inspire me or that I find particularly beautiful. Most of the pictures are from editorials I like, but there are also pictures of celebrities I admire, musicians whose music I like, and other things. The wall is constantly morphing to fit my current obsessions. It's a living, breathing inspiration, so to speak. Magazines like Lula technically belong on the Wall, but I can't bring myself to cut it up. And you should know that the '20s Paris editorial from September's issue of Vogue (It was called Paris, Je'taime, I think) is currently awaiting its addition to the Wall. Well, here is my Wall of Inspiration in all its glory. (Click on the photo for a bigger version)
And here is my Hot Guy Wall for some extra eye candy. You're welcome.
Do you have a Wall of Inspiration? How do your room's decorations inspire you? If you want to share a photograph, that would be lovely.
