Wardrobe Swap Shop

Most of you have heard of Wardrobe_Remix, because it's probably the most popular fashion-related group on flickr. (And for a good reason, might I add. It's chock-full of amazingly creative and stylish people.) But have you heard of Wardrobe Swap Shop?

I've been involved with Wardrobe Swap Shop for longer than I've been involved with Wardrobe_Remix, and it's great. It's a group where you can swap unwanted clothing/accessories/jewelry, and since all you need to pay for is shipping, it's essentially guilt-free shopping. Plus, it gives you the opportunity to de-clutter your wardrobe. The picture above is of some of the goodies I've accumulated from the group (trapeze tank that I added sequins to, key necklace, mustard tights, red shoes). I've gotten more, but I'm too lazy to upload the images to the computer.

Swapping is totally addictive, and you can end up with some great stuff. I'm currently awaiting a beautiful skirt and printed babydoll tank. I'm so excited! Nothing makes me happier than getting packages in the mail. Well, almost nothing.

You can see all the lovely items I have for swap here if you want to swap with me. (Might I reccomend this top? The day I discovered it had goten too small was a very sad one. It's so unique, and I love it.)

That's all, my grasshoppers. Go forth and swap!!!

Ooo, I've been thinking of looking for a swap type thing for my mountains of unused clothes. Although I guess this isn't really of much help when it comes to decluttering! :D

I lurrrrve the teddy watch! I actually looked for something like that in feline form on ebay a while ago, but couldn't make up my mind.

What sort of things are you interested in? I have no brogues to offer, I can tell you that much right away. :D
I've no pictures yet of things that need a new owner that loves them the way they deserve to, unlike me who leaves them wallowing all alone and unused in the pits of my wardrobe; I haven't "inventoried" my wardrobe, we're in the middle of re-doing my room, so once that is done in a week or so (hopefully...), I'll start organizing my cupboards.

Hmm...I guess I'm interested in dresses and shoes (size 7.5 or 8 US), but really I'll go for anything that catches my eye. Just so you know, I don't usually swap with people outside of the US unless they have something I reaallly want, because the shipping price is a little high and I'm a little broke, but I suppose that the teddy watch is small enough that it's a non-issue.
